Kathleen Seah
Kathleen graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). She is a member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia and is participating in their Professional Self-Regulation Programme.
Kathleen has experience working in community health settings as well as within private practice. She has experience working with children with additional needs as well as preschool and school-age children. Kathleen specialises in early childhood language development and also working with children who have delays associated with a diagnosis of Autism. Kathleen has specialised training in the PROMPT technique for therapy (www.promptinstitute.com) targeting Apraxia of Speech (AOS) and articulation difficulties. She is also formally trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and The Hanen Programme (It Takes Two To Talk). Kathleen is a Hanen Certified Program Instructor and also specialises in treatment of stuttering in children, adolescents and adults.
Kathleen understands Mandarin and has a keen interest in working with families from a variety of multicultural backgrounds.
Rachel Granter
Rachel has over twenty years experience working as a Speech Pathologist and brings a wealth of expertise to our intervention team.
Rachel graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). She is a member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia and is participating in their Professional Self-Regulation Programme.
Rachel has worked in a variety of settings including Community Health, Hospital, Disability Services, Charitable and Community-based organisations as well as in Private practice. Rached has worked in a variety of metropolitan and rural locations in Australia and has also worked as a Speech Pathologist in the United Kingdom. Rachel brings skills, training and expertise from a variety of professional experiences and treatment services for children, adults and their families. Rached facilitates a collaborative and partnership approach with parents, carers and associated professionals also working with the client.
Rached is trained in The Hanen Programme (It Takes Two To Talk) and is a Hanen Certified Program Instructor. Rachel is also formally trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She is also trained in the SPALDING 'The Writing Road to Reading' literacy intervention method.
Julia Good
Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. She is a member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia and is participating in the Professional Self-Regulation programme.
Julia has specialised training in the PROMPT technique for therapy (www.promptinstitute.com) targeting Apraxia of Speech (AOS) and articulation difficulties. She is also formally trained in The Hanen Programme (It Takes Two To Talk) and is a Hanen Certified Program Instructor. Julia is also formally trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She has held previous positions as a senior behaviour therapist, providing early intervention services for children with Autism prior to working as a speech pathologist. Julia has a wealth of experience from working as a speech pathologist in private speeech pathology practices throughout Sydney.
Julia is commited to ongoing education and is currently completing her Masters degree at the University of Sydney, specialising in developmental disability.
