Speech Pathologists at Startright Speech Therapy are trained to work with children in either a highly stuctured clinician-led manner using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), or a low-structured manner which is based upon the principles of the Hanen Programme and is child-led and play-based. The specific type of therapy provided depends upon each child as an individual and may be modified at any time. A combination consisting of elements from both approaches is often utilised in therapy and tailored to each child.
Speech Pathologists at Startright Speech Therapy also offer a mobile service to the Ryde, North Shore and Inner-West areas of Sydney to support children, their families and educators in the home, school or child care environments.
